Nuell Beasley Harn

Nuell Beasley Harn, 94, passed away March 13, 2011 at Riverview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Glennville, Georgia on January 11, 1917. She was the daughter of Flossie and Virgil Beasley. She moved to Savannah after her marriage and resided here the remainder of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Reginald Boyd Harn, her brothers, Thad Beasley, Prentice Beasley, Kenneth Beasley, and sisters Dorothy Beasley and Ruth Joyce Brannen. She graduated from Glennville High School and attended Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville, Georgia. She was a long time member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church before moving her membership to Isle of Hope United Methodist Church where her children are members.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David B. and Sandie Harn, daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Jimmy Smith, and five grandchildren, Tamara Harn of Garden City, GA; David Harn, Jr., of San Antonia, TX; Renee' Hickman Wayne of Waynesboro, GA; Kevin Smith Katie of Alpharetta, GA; Brian Harn of Savannah, GA; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their thanks to all of Mrs. Harn's caregivers.

Graveside Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
